Santa Justa Lift, Lisbon, Portugal

Santa Justa Lift was inaugurated on the 10th of July 1902. It was designed by engineer Raoul Mesnier Ponsard and has a cast iron structure decorated with filigree. It's 45 metres tall.
It connects the lower streets of Baixa neighbourhood with the higher Largo do Carmo, in Chiado neighbourhood. In recent years, particularly after renovation in 2006, this lift has become a tourist attraction

Opening hours: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (9 p.m. Nov.- Feb.)

Ticket: €5 (two trips and viewpoint)
