Trancoso, Portugal

Trancoso is a city in northern Portugal, famous for its walls and castle, built during the reign of king D. Dinis (1279-1325), and for the 16th-century writer and astrologer Bandarra (his statue in one of the pictures).

Opening hours for the Castle: 9 a.m–12.30 p.m. ; 2 p.m.–5.30 p.m.
