Pandhof Sinte Marie, Utrecht, Netherlands

This small garden is located in a cloister that used to belong to the 11th-century church of Saint Mary, which no longer exists.
It has the largest collection of "Maria Plants" in the Netherlands. "Maria Plants" are plants that refer to the life and virtues of  Mother Mary and are a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. The garden is kept by volunteers.

Opening hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
