Plaza Mayor, Caceres, Spain

For centuries the Plaza Mayor was the meeting point and the centre of social and commercial activity. Today it's a major touristic attraction and the "entrance hall" to the maze which is the old town. The plaza emerged in the 12th century, because of the annual fair, but was remodelled and restored in 2011.
