Guerra Junqueiro House Museum, Oporto, Portugal

Guerra Junqueiro is a well known Portuguese poet from the 19th-20th centuries. The museum named after him is located in an 18th-century house built in the Baroque style. The House was donated to the City Council by his wife and his daughter. The museum was inaugurated in 1942 to remember Guerra Junqueiro and recreate is home. It has an interesting collection of furniture, decorative objects and several utensils from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The building is located close to the Cathedral and to a segment of the Fernandine wall.

Opening hours: Tue. to Sat. from 10 am to 5.30 pm; Sun. to 12.30 pm.
